About Don Ashley TV

Don Ashley TV is an attempt to give both recognition and a positive voice to local area businesses and residents.  The studio, located in what’s often referred to as “beautiful downtown Valrico”, offers both business and community the services of multimedia, web development, advertising and video production.  Owner, operator Don Ashley is also the Online Business Editor for the Osprey Observer, as well as webmaster for OspreyObserver.com–along with many other websites.

In March of 2007, Don Ashley and Marie Gilmore joined forces and started the area’s first multimedia, local area news website (MyOspreyTV).  Since then, both the Osprey Observer print edition and OspreyObserver.com have experienced continued growth and expansion–even during economically challenging times.  We attribute this to our focus on positive reporting, our wide-reach within the community, and the high-quality, cutting-edge services we offer to local area businesses and organizations.

Don Ashley TV is actually the result of trying to combat the “journalistic onslaught” of the ever-growing and always present “negative news syndrome”.  While a few stories of complaint or concern (see “Vent with Me” section) may air, the result and desire is always aimed at the positive.  In conjunction with The Osprey Observer and the “ShopLOCAL” program, Don Ashley TV, MyOspreyTV, OspreyObserver.com, and others are working together to promote and support our local commerce.

The studio offers a full-line of production applications including (but not limited to): web design and development, pre & post video production, audio & video casting tooled specifically for the internet, graphic design, ad layouts, photography, and business consulting in the areas of  S E O (Search Engine Optimization), streaming media on your website, marketing and branding your business through an “online / offline” application and strategy.
